Welcome to the Unique Furniture And Mattress family! We are absolutely thrilled to help you create a beautiful, comfortable space you love. To ensure everything goes smoothly from our showroom to your home, we’ve put together a quick guide on our shipping, showroom pickup, and store policies.
A Quick Note on Sales & Cancellations
Because we offer carefully curated pieces at competitive prices, all sales are final.

Special Orders: These items are crafted or specifically ordered just for you and are completely non-refundable after the order is placed.

Authorized Exceptions: If, for a rare reason, an exception is made and an order cancellation or exchange is authorized, please note that a minimum 25% restocking fee will be applied to the total order amount.

Layaway Orders: Layaway orders are yours to look forward to—just make sure to complete your payments and pick them up within 1 year!
Damages, Defects & Repairs
We partner with wonderful delivery teams, but we know bumps along the road can occasionally happen. Whether you purchase a product in-store or online, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery or pick-up in the rare event that your product arrives damaged, defective, or is not working properly (some exceptions apply).

Concealed Damage: Even if you discover damage after unpacking your furniture, you still have 3 days from receipt to report it. We’ll jump right in and help you get your item repaired or replaced as quickly as possible!

Pro Tip: If you are working with an interior designer or contractor, please have them thoroughly inspect the items the moment they arrive rather than waiting for installation day.
Warranties for Peace of Mind
We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. All of our products come with a one-year manufacturer warranty against defects (some exceptions apply). Additionally, extended warranties are available for most items Unique Furniture And Mattress sells, giving you added coverage for long-term peace of mind (excluding accessories and small appliances).
Authorized Refunds
Because all sales are final, refunds are only issued in specially authorized situations. If a refund has been formally authorized for your order, please note the following processing timelines based on your payment method:

Cash payments: Refunded by cash/cheque (please allow 7 business days).

Debit Card payments: Refunded by cheque (please allow 7 business days).

Credit Card payments: Refunded directly back to the original Credit Card (please allow 7 business days).

All other payments: Refunded by cheque (please allow 21 business days).
Important Delivery Details

Please measure your space! Unique Furniture And Mattress cannot be held responsible for items that do not fit into your home, or for damages caused by tight squeezes, narrow entrances, or sharp stairwells. Once delivered safely past your door, the items are officially in your care.

Second Delivery Attempts: If our delivery team needs to make a second trip out to your home after a missed initial delivery appointment, a $200 service fee will apply.

Furniture Assembly: We offer professional furniture assembly services for select items! If you chose this option, please ensure your space is completely clear and ready for our team before we arrive.
Final Sale Items
To keep things transparent, the following specific items are always final sale and completely non-refundable:

Custom orders, open-box items, mattresses, pillows, and Canadian-made or made-to-order products.

Layaway balances and special orders.

Floor models and clearance items.

How Showroom Pickup Works:

Select the Pickup option at checkout.

We will send you a notification note when your order is ready (usually within 1–3 business days for in-stock items).
